Art classes for children held in a home studio environment taught by an Artist/Art School Graduate and Certified Art Teacher. B.F.A. & B.Ed.
Description

Art classes are taught by artist/teacher Monique Froehler. I aspire to make my home studio a place of magic, inspiration and learning for children. My classes are available for young artists of all skill levels. Children and youth can develop new skills and hone interests while discovering more about the power of the imagination and their unique view of the world. Students are taught that art making is a process, one that can be undertaken at any point in their lives, and that skills can constantly be improved. My students are asked to push boundaries in their thinking, to be creative and critical thinkers.

I am an artist/art teacher who’s been residing in the CCV (Country Club Village in the Canadian Golf Course) just west of Stittsville, Ontario, since June 2012. Currently, I’ve stayed at home with my three young (3,5,7) children. Four years ago, we moved from the north (Yellowknife, Northwest Territories) where I held a full-time position as a secondary school art teacher. Currently, I am opening up my home to teach young artists/students.
