I’ve decided to try this little idea I found by a designer/art instructor at Pratt Institute in New York. It’s a way to engage your child in using their imagination and connecting with them when they are at school. I tried one on Friday and both my daughter and son had fun. I leave the words out for my son as he’s not reading yet.

The idea is: quick sketches and unfinished stories on my end on a scrap of paper. They finish the drawing and write a finished sentence/thought.

They both showed interest so I’ll see how it goes! and how long I can keep it up!

Update: Here is one of the ones Edzea brought home & changed completely!!!
